Seven Days of Inspiration
Day #4: Ask yourself, "Would I be friends with this person if I wasn't romantically interested?"
“That's always seemed so ridiculous to me, that people want to be around someone because they're pretty. It's like picking your breakfast cereals based on color instead of taste."
1. In the past, what have been the things that most attracted me to people I've dated? What led me to desire them over someone else?
2. Aside from superficial things like looks/smarts etc., what are the most important qualities that I want to see in a potential partner?
3. What are the things that I Love about people in general that make me feel connected to them? Do I look for these same things in dating?
