Secret #5: Don't excuse things that aren't up to your standards. When someone is showing you who they are, don't pretend they're someone else.
“When someone shows you who they are, believe them. The first time."

1. What am I truly looking to create with someone? If I met my perfect partner today, do I know what kind of relationship I want to have together? Could I communicate about it with them?
2. In the past, have I avoided getting clear because I knew what the answer would be and I didn't want to hear it? Did that ultimately help or hurt me?
3. Do I believe that if something isn't right for me, something better is on the way? Could I start to? How might I feel if I truly believed that?
